Very funny, very dark. The situations are highly improbable. Using a legion of "drama" actors for "comedy" created an interesting comic tension. George Clooney is easily the funniest character in the movie. Kudos for Coen brothers to bring out his funny side. The acting for everybody is spot on, even though many characters are one-dimensional caricatures.

The Russians?

My wife and I tried it out for the first time for my birthday on a Wednesday.

We're very impressed with this relatively new place. The photo doesn't do justice to the interior. It is tasteful and cozy at the same time. The food was the real high light of the night. Peruvian food has a lot of Japanese influence. Some dishes are decidedly organic fusion of tapa and sushi! The presentation is an artful mixto of the west and the east as well. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the dining experience.

There is a little gaffe in the service that night. The sole waiter (who blamed the lateness of a busboy that made him scramble) delivered not one but three wrong appetizers (since we're new to the place and we didn't notice it either.), which would mean they're free of charge if we didn't like them. They're all delicious! Being a magnanimous guy as I am, I pointed out truthfully that we even liked one of the dishes better than the similar one we ordered. In the end, they only charged us for one of the extra dishes.

We're stuffed and smiling leaving the restaurant, because of the additional 3 for 1 dishes. $25 gift certificate for $2 didn't hurt either :)

It's an enlightened observation on relationships of a few smart but unenlightened human beings. I'd prefer this to his other more glib and babbling routines. There are more than a few chuckles here and there.
