Ok when I first heard of this movie I thought to myself “ why should I go see this movie” aside from being a movie with a whole lot of marijuana and everyone seemed to be stoned. Yet from the beginning of the movie I was surprised. Yes everyone was stoned out of their mind but also I enjoyed the good humor acting that comes along with being stoned. I rather like the way they brought in the action like rush hour and the comedy of Cheech and Chong into one movie and actually pulled it off. Just the right balance. One thing I wished they would have showed is how did that guy get out of the chair, and for those who just took that as me spoiling the movie. Rest assure that there are many good scenes to choose from if you haven't actually went to see it. One thing that I was told prior to actually watching this movie is to actually partake in actions of getting baked. And I must say, if you take the time to smell the green flowers from day to day, if you actually watch this movie while in an elevated state you could understand some of the humor that is Pineapple Express.
Alright, I've been looking for the right words to describe this movie. i had such high expectations from will smith. i wont go as far as to say that he's my number one favorite actors/ actress, yet i must give it to the man he's made some really good films. But i don't know what to say about "Hancock" i was really looking forward to seeing this movie and in the beging of the movie it grabbed my attention and led me to believe that i was in for a great time.
Unfortunately i would say not so. giving that the opening scene did have a lot of action it lacked plot development. who is this guy, where did he come from, whats his story. I really do believe that you could pull off giving the viewer that information till the end of the movie. the whole three minute dialog after about an hour and a half of just back and forth viewing random scenes. really could anyone tell me the significance of having a mobile trailer in the middle of butt fuck no where (pardon the language) but seriously, how could i truly enjoy a movie about a super hero when i don't even know what's this guys story till nearly the end. "more to come not done with this film"
As a person who has seen every Indian Jones film, I have to say that my favorite is the temple of doom. But I must say this one gave “TOD” a run for its money. With its redesigned shooting and blue screen techniques I would say well done. Also the action sequence is something new, I must say that the whole time I was on the edge of my seat; not knowing what’s going to happen next. Ok in fear of giving the movie away in excitement I will say It is defiantly something for all ages and a must see.
