Julia Ormond

Julia Ormond was born in Epsom, Surrey, England. She attended Guildford High School and Cranleigh School, and then studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, graduating in 1988. She has been a fixture of stage and screen ever since, amassing an impressive and frequently acclaimed body of work. Among her more high-profile film appearances include First Knight, Captives, Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt, the late Sydney Pollack's Sabrina with Harrison Ford, The Baby of Mâcon with Ralph Fiennes, Inland Empire, and 2007's I Know Who Killed Me with Lindsey Lohan. 2008 will be a busy year for her, appearing in four major films: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt, Guerrilla with Benicio del Toro, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery, and Surveillance. Ormond is also a busy anti human-trafficking activist, and was appointed as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2005.
