Hayley Marie Norman

Hayley Marie Norman is taking Hollywood by storm. In the past year alone she has completed either supporting or lead roles in five feature films including Sony's "Hancock" with Will Smith and Charlize Theron (director Peter Berg) and booked a recurring role on the number one daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless." She recently finished work as a lead role in the feature film "Trailer Park of Terror" based on the popular Imperium Comic, (which was just accepted into the 2008 Slamdance film festival!), and supporting roles in the feature films "Jelly" and "Broken Windows." This past season, Hayley was seen in the Eddie Murphy film "Norbit" as well as guest star roles on "Studio 60" and "Shark." She is also known as being a standout tv personality on NBC's number one show, "Deal or No Deal," and her universal appeal has led to quite a following! She's been featured in several interviews and pictorials and was the face and personality of Flow TV- an urban hip hop channel.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California she is an exotic mix of Russian, German, and African American-having been the face of the African American Barbie Doll as a child. She is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, is a California Arts Scholar, and has studied at several other respected theatrical institutions such as Cal Arts, University of the Arts (Philadelphia), as well as the National Theatre Education Space in London.

She continues expanding her artistry and knowledge of the craft with some of the most venerated professionals in the business. Since she knew what she born to do at the tender age of 7, she also attended a performing arts high school so that she could hone and focus her craft, although she also excelled academically as well.

Encouraged and inspired by the likes of Fassbinder, Vincent Gallo, Gena Rowlands, John Cassavetes, Pam Grier, Nina Simone, Basquiat, Nietzsche, and Black Flag, Hayley aspires to not just be another working actress, but a great artist. She trained extensively as a classical ballet artist because she found the movement, grace, and gesture would help to further her artistic sensibilities.
