Join photographers John Arthur and Pamela Deerwood in hunting dragonflies and damselflies with nets and cameras. Learn to identify and photograph several species, see them enlarged on a big screen,

and participate in the MN Odonata Survey Project. Bring a digital camera and close focusing binoculars, if you have them.

Please register early as space is limited.

Location: Maplewood Nature Center, 2659 7th St. East, Maplewood, MN 55119
Ages: Adults, and children (at least 10 years)
Fee: $15/ for up to 2 people (includes membership to Friends of Maplewood Nature)
Registration: Mail check to Maplewood Nature Center, 2659 7th St. East, Maplewood, MN 55119 or drop by with payment by August 20.
Field Guides recommended:
Damselflies of the Northwoods by Bob DuBois (leaders will have these on hand)

Photos can be submitted for photo contest. Photos may be placed in a new nature center 2010 calendar!
