Located in Boulder, Colorado, The Leaf was established in 2005 to bring you the finest teas around the world.

The history of tea dates back to 5000 years ago. The Chinese people first cultivated tea and drank it mostly for medicinal purposes. Since then, tea has been adopted by cultures worldwide. Right now, over 50 countries in the world produce teas. Because of its nutritional value, tea has become increasingly popular in the United States.

Drinking tea is fun. Green tea provides a light, fresh taste; black tea, a full bodied flavor; and oolong tea, a blend of both green and black tea flavors. No matter what taste you prefer, you can always find a type of tea that suits you. Tea drinks are colorful: green, yellow, black, and red. You name it! When you drink tea, you can enjoy its delightful flavor and appreciate its color.
